The Monmouth Model Airplane Club (MMAC) is one of Central Jersey’s oldest organizations for radio control modelers, founded in 1964. Our mission is to promote and advance our hobby while ensuring a safe flying environment for the entire family. As a non-profit organization, MMAC has a lease on a beautiful, club-maintained field located within the Monmouth Battlefield State Park, where spectators are always welcome to enjoy our flying events.
We offer a safe and accessible flying field that is open year-round during daylight hours, complete with convenient parking. Our training program features experienced instructors, and we provide liability insurance through the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA). The geotex runway is suitable for EDF and large planes, making it ideal for various flying events. Additionally, we host fun-fly events, conduct weekly field maintenance during the flying season, and have a flight line with multiple flying stations.
